The tweet above is from a UCLA student who came to Beau’s workshop on “How to have Spiritual Conversations” at Ignite Conference last week. There is no better tweet to get than this and what a joy to know we are reaching beyond SDSU with the gospel and God is using our teams efforts!
(this is fromDavid Nguyen Saveur, InterVarsity staff at UC Davis): Shout out to SDSU! Your large group tonight served a couple of our UC Davis students who were home for the summer. The two girls brought their brothers and the one who was an adamant atheist stood up to receive prayer for God to do something about the sin in his life. Are you kidding me right now?! That’s amazing! Thank you for the work you’re doing 500 miles away! Really makes InterVarsity feel like one big family =)
This is an email we got after our first meeting of the year! God is using our ministry to reach other students at other colleges! So cool!
The video is testimony of a grad student at USC who is from China. He says he has a catholic family but never knew Jesus could be your friend or what a personal relationship with God even meant. God was just a distant being to him. Mitsu, SDSU part time International Staff, led the discussion at USC and also this guy to the Lord. This was the first conversion at USC’s Friday night International Student Ministry.
